Ricardo Ferreira Affeldt
- Prof. Dr. Ricardo F. Affeldt graduated from UFRGS, having completed part of his Ph.D. at the Institute für Pflanzenbiokemie in Halle, Germany. Professor/Researcher (P.I) at UFSC since 2016.
- Tteaches organic chemistry courses primarily for pharmacy and organic biological chemistry for the chemistry course (undergraduation) and Organic Analisys and Spectroscopy (graduation).
- In research, works with bioinspired synthesis to understand physical and chemical phenomena. Despite his main background in organic synthesis, he collaborates with researchers in the areas of physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, as well as health-related fields such as pharmacy and biochemistry.
- Currently, as visiting researcher at the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica of the Nova University of Lisbon in Portugal, conducting Docking and Molecular Dynamics assays.
